Nick Vyas

Executive Director, USC Marshall Center for Global Supply Chain Management Nick Vyas implemented breakthrough process improvements that have increased efficiency for clients in the field of healthcare, service, military, retail and end-to-end supply chain. He is the Director and Co-founder of USC Marshall’s Center for Global Supply Chain Management and an Assistant Professor of Clinical, Data Sciences & Operations. He teaches Application Lean Six Sigma courses, Global Supply Chain in International Settings and strives to connect students to the global economy by using Global Supply Chain Excellence and principles of networking, education, and advanced research (NEAR).

Aljosja Beije

Co-owner & Managing Consultant, BeSCOPE Aljosja Beije MSc. has over 20 years’ experience of IT in relation to finance and logistics systems development and implementation in the Far East, Middle East and Europe. Founder of BeSCOPE Solutions, a supply chain and technology consultancy and interim management firm. When the term smart contracts was first introduced in the summer of 2014, its relevance and potential for logistics and supply chain management was immediately clear to me. Since then, I have been actively involved in development of blockchain based logistics solution, strategic consultancy on blockchain and quartermaster for a dedicated blockchain and logistics fieldlab in the City of Rotterdam. Blockchain could be the foundational technology that integrates the physical flow with the financial and informational flow in a wide range of industries, such as financial services, logistics, telecoms and commodity trade, enabling new business models and more efficient transactions.

Ranga Krishnan

Vice President, Technology, Skuchain Ranga has over 25 years of diversified management and technology experience in small to large sized organizations. He has a proven ability to execute strategies, requirement gathering, plan, manage resources, defining and implementing processes & policies, team building, product development life cycle management, and project management over a broad range of products (Enterprise Software, Web Media, Database Software/Database Technologies, Security and Internet Software/Products). Expertise in Purchasing, Training, Administration and Development. He has Strong skills in organization, decision making, delegation, and people management.

Aaron Lieber

Program Director, Blockchain Trade Offering Management, IBM As the offering leader for IBM Blockchain Trade Solutions, Aaron Lieber is responsible for developing blockchain solutions that transform global trade and radically improve the efficiency of global supply chains. During his 14+ years with IBM, he’s held a variety of roles in the software development business, leading engineering, design, and field engagement teams. He began his IBM career working as a software engineer in San Francisco, CA after working in a number of venture-backed startups in the Bay Area.

He is consistently engaged in Ernst & Young’s most complex and strategic engagements, playing various roles ranging from executive sponsor, delivery lead, client relationship management, quality assurance etc.
